About Us Chefs Ken Larsen and Jim Pascolla met at culinary school in 1981. Both graduated with the highest
honors. After graduation, their
goal was to start a catering company. Soon thereafter, Something's Cooking Custom Catering was started as a part-time endeavor. Both also worked hard at
high-end hotels, country clubs, and restaurants to perfect their trade. After
20 years of experience, hard work, and on-the-job education, the time had
come to make Something's
Cooking Custom Catering their full-time venture. Now, in 2010, Something's Cooking Custom Catering is entering its 29th
successful year. Word of mouth is our best advertisement. Ken and Jim are known
throughout the Chicago Area for quality food, attention to detail, and their
